Behind the multi-disciplinary architecture firm anorak sprl, the a practice. agency resolutely positions itself on architecture as practice rather than an attitude. A practice which takes necessity as its guiding principle over and above concerns of form or discourses, and follows up the speculative and specific stakes pursued until 2010 by the Anorak agency, founded in 2005 by Cécile Chanvillard, Cédric Libert and Vincent Piroux.

Founded in 2011 by Cécile Chanvillard and Vincent Piroux, a practice. intends to pursue these constructive and conceptual processes in a tangible aim, by producing essentialist architecture with the support of its underlying exercise; a practical experiment that materializes itself through the attention to details and building act.
